Azusa, Calif. - Three Nevada Track and Field Multi's athletes competed on Thursday at the Bryan Clay Multi's Event. Alma Kathan, Valeria Paez-Rueda and Johanna Haas were the three competitors for the Wolf Pack and each competed in different flights for the Heptathlon. 

Alma Kathan competed in Group C, finishing the day in 10th with 2844 points. Kathan posted personal bests in all four of the days events, starting off with a mark of 15.07 seconds in the 100m Hurdles. She continued her form in the High Jump, clearing 1.55m, throwing 9.33m in the Shot Put and running a time of 25.43 seconds in the 200m Dash. 

Valeria Paez-Rueda competed in Group B, finishing the day in 6th with 3052 points. Paez-Rueda ran a 14.83 in the 100m Hurdles to kick her competition off, followed by a clearance of 1.64m in the High Jump. She then threw 11.41m in the Shot Put, followed by a personal best time of 26.16 seconds in the 200m Dash. 

Johanna Haas competed in Group A, finishing the day in 14th with 2571 points. Haas ran a personal best time of 14.20 seconds in the 100m Hurdles, then failed to clear the starting height of 1.49m in the High Jump. Haas threw 12.47m in the Shot Put, followed by a personal best time of 24.55 seconds in the 200m Dash. 

The Pack heptathletes will be back in action tomorrow, competing in two events each to conclude the heptathlon competition.
