FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Nevada Women's Golf team wrapped up play at the Meadow Club on Tuesday, finishing in ninth place with a total score of 891 (+27) after three rounds. The Wolf Pack stayed competitive throughout the tournament, showing flashes of strong play behind key individual performances and an impressive total of birdies across the lineup.
Nevada started the tournament hot, briefly finding themselves in contention among the top four teams. Although the Pack settled into the middle of the leaderboard, they displayed consistency and fought through the final round. Nevada also beat out UNLV, which was ranked number 33 among the top 100 teams in the country.
Kano led Nevada from start to finish, closing her tournament with a steady 72 (E) in the final round. Kano collected a tournament total of seven birdies, finishing even par for the week and earning a top-10 individual finish.
Shultse stayed strong in the final round with a 73 (+1). She finished with nine birdies across the three rounds, proving one of Nevada's most consistent contributors.
Chindavong posted a 76 (+4) to close out her week and had six birdies throughout the tournament.
Sheikh carded a 77 (+5) on the final day, highlighted by four birdies in Round 3. She ended the tournament with nine birdies, rounding out a substantial individual showing.
Lovisa capped her week with another 77 (+5) in the final round. She led the team alongside Chindavong and Sheikh, collecting nine total birdies in the tournament, showcasing her scoring ability across all three rounds.
