RENO, Nev. - It's a Silver State Series week as three Wolf Pack teams are in action against arch-rival UNLV.
Softball gets the rivalry week started, hosting the Rebels for a Wednesday doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. at Hixson Park before heading on the road for the weekend for a game at California Friday then a two-game series Saturday and Sunday at Fresno State. Friday morning, it's a 10 a.m. first serve as Women's Tennis hosts UNLV at McArthur Tennis Center. Down in Las Vegas, Nevada Baseball, tied for first place early in the Mountain West season, aims to keep its roll going as it visits UNLV for a three-game series beginning Friday night. The Wolf Pack will also host UC Davis in midweek action Wednesday at 2:05 p.m.
Friday also features a tennis doubleheader at McArthur, as the Wolf Pack men host Utah State at 2 p.m., following the conclusion of the Nevada-UNLV women's match.
Track & Field splits off in the Bay Area at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and San Francisco State Invite in San Francisco, the Brutus Hamilton Multi Event in Berkeley, and the Stanford Invitational.

Nevada enters its busiest week of the conference schedule, playing five games, including four in Mountain West play. The Pack's week begins Wednesday with a doubleheader against UNLV (18-17, 2-7 MW), part of the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union. The first pitch for game one is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Christina M. Hixson Softball Park. Nevada follows the doubleheader with a trip to Berkeley, Calif., to take on California (25-10) at 3 p.m. on Friday. The trip concludes with games at Fresno State (23-11, 7-2 MW) on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and noon, respectively.
The Pack go into the fourth week of conference play in second place in the Mountain West standings, holding tiebreakers over San Diego State and Utah State. Nevada only sits behind its weekend opponent, Fresno State.

Hailey McLean are coming off of Mountain West award winning weeks with stellar performances in the Pack's series win over San Diego State. Jenkins and McLean will look to repeat their performances and solidify footholds at the top of the Mountain West standings.

Nevada (13-2, 4-1 MW) returns home after its first loss since January 16. The Pack were riding a 13 match winning streak, capping with a 4-1 win at Utah State on Friday. The streak was snapped following a 4-0 loss at Boise State on Sunday.
The Wolf Pack will host UNLV (13-4, 4-1 MW) at 10 a.m. on Friday. Each team enters the match 4-1 in conference play, tied for second in the conference in a three-team tie with San Diego State.
Nevada will finish the week against Air Force (7-11, 1-4 MW) at 12 p.m. on Sunday at McArthur Tennis Center. The Falcons are on a two match losing streak falling to San Jose State and Fresno State, after getting their lone conference win against Utah State, 4-0.

Nevada (10-5, 1-1 MW) began Mountain West play with a split week, falling at New Mexico, 4-0, but responding with a home win against Air Force, 4-3, on Sunday.
Following a schedule change that postponed Nevada's match against UC Davis to next week, Nevada will only play one match this week. The Pack will take on Utah State (10-7, 1-1 MW) at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at McArthur Tennis Center. The Aggies are coming off a 5-2 loss to #41 Boise State last week. Utah State got their conference victory early in the year against San Diego State, 4-0.

Nevada Track and Field splits off into three competition groups this week, heading to SF State's Mike Fanelli Track Classic, Cal Berkeley's Brutus Hamilton Multi Event and the Stanford Invitational. There is plenty of action for Wolf Pack fans as the team continues the outdoor season, following the outdoor season opener at the Hornet Invitational two weeks ago. With all event groups in competition, the outdoor season will be in full flow, with the Pack looking for success across the board.
