MILLBRAE, Calif. - The Nevada Women's Golf team is set to tee it up at the 2025 Silicon Valley Showcase, hosted by Santa Clara University from March 24-25 at the scenic Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae, California. The par-71 course will stretch 6,061 yards, presenting a demanding test for a strong 12-team field.
Nevada returns to the Showcase with recent history on its side, having finished fourth in the event two years ago. That 2023 tournament saw Stanford and Pepperdine share the team title, while Pepperdine's Lion Higo secured the individual crown.
Among those returning to the tournament is junior Gabby Kano, who competed for Nevada as a freshman in the 2023 edition. Kano finished tied for 43rd with a 54-hole total of 241 (+28), concluding her first collegiate showcase with a final-round 82 (+11). She'll be looking to build on that performance this time around.
Nevada's lineup for the 2025 Silicon Valley Showcase includes:
The Pack will face off against a competitive field featuring several top-100 teams in the latest Clippd rankings:
- #30 Kansas State
- #42 Pepperdine
- #64 Long Beach State
- #72 San Francisco
- #83 UC Irvine
- #88 Boise State
Stanford will also be represented, fielding individuals only.
The tournament will open with 36 holes on Monday, followed by the final 18-hole round on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available throughout the competition via Golfstat.
With valuable experience and a strong returning core, the Wolf Pack is aiming to improve upon its past success and make a statement at Green Hills once again.
