Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The final round of the General James Hackler Championship was a positive one for the Wolf Pack, as they picked up two spots on the round posting a strong two under-par 286 on the day. The Pack finished in a tie for 10th, a solid improvement heading into the bulk of Spring competition.
Leading the way for the Pack in the final round was
Liam Gobin, who posted a 69 (-3), that included four birdies and an eagle, offset by three bogies. Gobin placed tied for 23rd (73-74-69=216), the best finisher for the Pack.
Next best on the day for the Wolf Pack were
Aaron Leach and
Ben Ortwein who both posted even-par 72's. Leach's included four birdies offset by four bogies, whilst Ortwein's featured three birdies offset by three bogies. Ortwein was the better finisher of the two, finishing in a tie for 42nd (74-74-72=220), while Leach finished in a tie for 48th (75-75-72=222).
Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae was the second best finisher of the tournament for the Wolf Pack, shooting a final round 73 (+1), that included two birdies and three bogies. Seelanagae finished in a tie for 28th (73-71-73=217).
Rounding out the Pack was
Jonathan Kim who struggled on the final day, posting a 76 (+4) to finish in a tie for 82nd (76-77-76=229).
The Pack are back in action next week for The Goodwin in Palo Alto, California, hosted by Stanford.
