GIRDWOOD, Alaska -Â Day one of the 2025 RMISA Championships featured the Giant Slalom Thursday, with Nevada closing the action seventh on the team standings.
Jules Baur paced the Wolf Pack men with a 17th-place finish, coming in in a final time of 1:24.99. Baur climbed four spots in his second run, posting the eighth-best time of the field with a 42.15.
David Morken's second-run time of 42.03 was the seventh-fastest of the field, as he finished 23rd in 1:25.62.
Engebret Halbjoerhus (1:26.20) and
Ryan Herhusky (1:29.60) rounded out the Nevada men who placed.
Jessica Blackburn used a second run in 45.99 to take 18th with a final time of 1:33.89. Charlotte Clement (1:36.55) and
Elle Murphy (1:39.82) came in 21st and 23rd, respectively, to round out the Wolf Pack women.
Nevada will compete in the Slalom of the Seawolf Invite Friday before returning to conference championship action Saturday, also in Slalom.
