GIRDWOOD, Alaska -Â Nevada skiers took to Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska, for the Giant Slalom of the Seawolf Invite, ahead of Thursday's RMISA Championships race.
Zali Sutton had the top finish of the day, coming in 14th among RMISA skiers with a final time of 1:33.12. Also on the women's side,
Jessica Blackburn bounced back with a second run of 46.10 to climb into 18th place with a final time of 1:34.01.
Jules Baur led the Wolf Pack men, finishing 15th in 1:33.99, helped by clocking the sixth-fastest time in the second runs with a 45.28.
Engebret Halbjoerhus also benefited from a strong second run, coming in at 45.20, the third-fastest time amongst the field, to come in 17th with a final time of 1:34.13.
Iver Walday Naess also posted a top-20 effort, coming in 18th with a time of 1:34.20.
Nevada returns to the mountain Thursday for the Giant Slalom race for the RMISA Championships.
