PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Nevada women's golf team remained steady in 15th place after Round 2 of the Alice and John Wallace Classic at Monterey CC, showing resilience and improvement while holding their position on the team leaderboard.
Nikki Chindavong led the Wolf Pack with a stellar even-par 71, climbing 38 spots on the individual leaderboard and setting the pace for a stronger team performance in the second round.
Chindavong's impressive 71 (E) included crucial birdies and consistent play on the back nine, setting the tone for Nevada's second round. Kano followed up with a steady 73 (+2) to keep herself in a competitive position. Shultse battled through challenging conditions to post a 77 (+6), while Sheikh recorded an 80 (+9). Na rounded out the lineup with a 90 (+19), contributing to the team's efforts.
