PARK CITY, Utah -Â
Jeger Halbjoerhus missed the podium by just 26-hundredths of a second in Monday's Slalom in Park City, while
Iver Walday Naess took eighth for a second Wolf Pack top-10 finish.
Halbjoerhus was eighth after the first run of the day with a time of 41.46, and a steady run of 41.86 closed his day with a combined time of 1:23.32, just fractions of a second behind Utah's Harry Hoffman in third place.
Naess turned in consecutive sub-42-second runs of his own at 41.64 and 41.91 to finish eighth with a combined time of 1:23.55.
Zali Sutton once again paced the Wolf Pack women, coming in 12th among RMISA skiers with a combined time of 1:27.22.
Elle Murphy was the only other Wolf Pack skier to complete both runs, finishing 17th in a time of 1:36.43.
Georgie Sullivan had a Pack-best first run of 42.70 but did not finish her second run.
Nevada returns home for a week of training before heading to Alaska for the Alaska Anchorage Invitational (Feb. 19 and 21) and the RMISA Championships (Feb. 20 and 22).
