RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball returns home on Saturday to host Pacific at 1 p.m. in their final preseason game before the start of conference play next week. 

The Pack had a tough outing in Tempe, Ariz. last weekend, dropping two games to San Francisco and McNeese State. Ahrray Young led in the first game against the Dons with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists. Chloe Williams recorded nine points with four rebounds.

The following day against the Cowgirls, Young had 10 points with six rebounds. Maia Rosarion had a season high nine points to go along with nine rebounds. 

Pacific is also entering the game coming off of a loss. The Tigers dropped a road game to San Diego State on Sunday, 70-68. Sydney Ward led in scoring with 17 points, followed by Daria Nestorov and Winner Bartholomew with 14. Ward also recorded three steals, three blocks and four rebounds. Nyah Lowery led in rebounding with six boards. 

This will be the seventh meeting between Nevada and Pacific. The last time the two teams met was in November of 2022, with the Pack falling short, 76-71.
