SURREY, British Columbia - Nevada Women's Basketball has concluded its first day of the 2026 Canadian Foreign Tour.

The day was highlighted by the team's first win, defeating the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds, 72-57. Nevada will play a doubleheader tomorrow, taking on the JABOGS at 12:50 p.m. and the Cascades at 4:20 p.m.

Following the win, the team went back to the hotel for a post-game meal and relaxation time before heading to dinner at Sky Avenue in Surrey. 

Dinner was filled with quality time, good food and laughs. The sun was setting as the team walked back to the hotel for dessert before calling it a night on day one of the foreign tour. 

Tomorrow will be heavily basketball focused, spending a majority of the day at the gym with two games being played.
