Nevada finish 6th at the Pearl at Kalauao Invitational in Hawaii

Aiea, Hawaii. - Nevada Men's Golf concluded play at the Pearl at Kalauao Invitational, Thursday, finishing the tournament play in 6th place, posting a three round total of 869 (+5).

Leading the way for the Wolf Pack in round three was Liam Gobin, who had things going nicely, sitting two under-par through 15 before making some bogies on the way in to post a one over-par round of 73. Gobin made four birdies on the round and placed in 20th. 

Next best for the Pack in the final round was Ben Ortwein, who posted a three over-par round of 75. Ortwein's round was highlighted by two birdies offset by three bogies and a double. Ortwein finished in 11th place at -2. Tied with Ortwein in the final round was Jonathan Kim, also posting a 75, his round highlighted by two birdies also offset by three bogies and a double. Kim finished the tournament in 51st. 

The final counting score came from Aaron Leach, who posted a five-over par 77. Leach's round was highlighted by just one birdie as he struggled to find his birdie making form of the first two rounds. Leach finished the tournament in 61st place. 

Rounding out the Pack starting five was Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae, who made two birdies on the round, but struggled to keep bogies off the card. Seelanagae finished in 34th place at +4.

Individually, freshman Riki Matsumoto played a solid tournament, placing 15th, picking up eight spots in the final round, posting a round of one under-par that was highlighted by three birdies offset by two bogies. Freshman Monte Chumchaivate played his best round of the tournament in round three, posting a one over-par 73, highlighted by three birdies, he finished in 72nd place. 

This was the final round of the fall season for the Pack and the final round of Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae's Wolf Pack career as he will head home to Thailand in the spring to pursue professional play at the Thailand PGA Q-School in 2026.
