This Week In Wolf Pack Athletics

RENO, Nev - Nevada Women's Volleyball begins a four-match homestand this weekend, while Nevada Football and Women's Soccer each continue their respective Mountain West campaign on the road.

Women's Golf is in Las Cruces, New Mexico, for its third tournament of the fall, while Men's Tennis and Cross Country head out for fall action.

Nevada makes its first trip to Albuquerque since 2016 as it faces New Mexico Saturday a 6:45 p.m. PT. The game will air on FS1, with Dan Hellie (play-by-play) and Petros Papadakis (analyst) on the call.

The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game on KOZZ 105.7 FM in Northern Nevada, online at www.thevarsitynetwork.com and on the Varsity Network app. John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) will be on the call, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 5:45 p.m. PT.

Nevada Women's Soccer hits the road this week for a pair of matchups in Colorado, taking on Colorado College and Air Force in Mountain West action.

The Wolf Pack opens the trip Thursday evening against Colorado College, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. PT at Stewart Field in Colorado Springs. Nevada will then remain in town for a Sunday showdown with Air Force, scheduled for 12 p.m. PT at Cadet Soccer Stadium.

Nevada looks to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

MEN'S TENNIS
2025 ITA Mountain Regional Championships

Nevada Men's Tennis heads to Las Vegas for the second time this fall, this time for the 2025 ITA Mountain Regional Championships. Wolf Pack entries will compete in both the singles and doubles draws with bids to November's NCAA Individual Championships at stake.

The two singles finalists from the 64-player draw and the doubles champion will earn automatic bids to the national event. Action starts Wednesday, October 15.

The Nevada Cross Country programs compete in their final meet of the regular season this week at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara in Sunnyvale, California. The Pack have competed strongly this season, with Austin Key and Natalia Martino leading being the best performers for the Pack so far.

The men's 8k will race at 8:45 a.m. and the women will follow in the 6k at 9:30 a.m.

The Wolf Pack will look to use this meet to find some form heading into the Mountain West Championships in two weeks time.

Nevada Women's Golf opens up play at New Mexico State's Golf Iconic Classic Monday October 13. The Pack are playing in their third event of the season, coming off a 8th place finish in South Carolina and 7th place in Oregon.

The Pack will look for more improvement this week, with Gabby Kano, Anna Shultse, Coco Kolbas, Marina Nonaka and Nikki Chindavong representing the Pack this week. Kano has been the most consistent performer for the Pack this season and will look to spearhead the team this week.

Volleyball returns home this week after two games on the road. This week, Wyoming and Colorado State come to town. The Pack will host the Cowgirls on Thursday at 6 PM and the Rams on Saturday at 1 PM. Both games will be 'Pack Digs Pink' games in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
