Nevada drops road contest to Central Arkansas

Box Score CONWAY, Ark. — Nevada Women's Soccer (2-5) fell 1–0 to Central Arkansas (3-3-1) on Thursday evening, with an early second‑half goal proving decisive in the matchup.

The opening 45 minutes showcased back‑and‑forth play as both teams worked to establish rhythm. Nevada and UCA each recorded four shots in the first half, though the Wolf Pack generated the more dangerous looks, placing three attempts on frame while holding the Bears to just one shot on goal. The match remained scoreless at the break.

Central Arkansas broke through shortly after halftime, taking a 1–0 lead in the 48th minute following a quick attacking sequence. The goal shifted the tempo, prompting the Wolf Pack to push higher and increase pressure in search of an equalizer.

Nevada continued to create chances throughout the second half, battling in the attacking third and challenging the UCA back line. Despite the Pack's late push, the Bears held on to preserve the result.

The Wolf Pack now looks ahead to Sunday's matchup against Arkansas–Pine Bluff at 10 a.m.
