RENO, Nev. - Nevada Men's and Women's Tennis each head to Las Vegas this weekend for the 2025 Mountain West Fall Qualifier. The event will feature men's and women's singles and doubles draws, with the winners of the four brackets earning automatic qualifcation for the 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships, which will be held from November 6-9, 2025 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

Competition at the ITA Conference Masters Championships will determine bids to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.

Women's competition leads off the event Thursday with the doubles first round at 3 p.m. and singles first round set for 4 p.m. The women's competition continues through Sunday with doubles and singles finals and bronze medal matches.

Reigning 2025 Mountain West Player of the Year Amahée Charrier has earned the top seed in the women's singles draw and will take on Vianca Corley of New Mexico. Also representing the Pack in singles is No. 6 seed Marlene Foerster taking on Vessa Turley of San Diego State and Silvia Costache taking on Nikol Mircheva of UNLV. 

For doubles, Charrier and Kennedy Robinson will open up with UNLV's Veronika Kliuch and Kaho Oyama, while Costache and Foerster face off against Colorado State's Sorcha Caves and Luana Avelar. 

The men's competition begins with doubles and singles first rounds at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively, and runs through Monday. The Wolf Pack men will be represented by four individuals in the singles bracket and two tandems on the doubles bracket.

On the singles side, Rayen Hermassi opens up against No. 8 seed Filip Soderqvist of Boise State, Axel Huysmans opens against Utah State's Jean-Baptiste Badon, Max Contet takes on No. 3 seed Lars Johann of San Diego State, and Rémy Trégourès battles No. 7 seed Roman Venger of Utah State. All matches are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

In doubles play, Hermassi and Huysman will face Utah State's Xavier Calvelo and Venger in opening-round action, while the tandem of Trégourès and Nicolas Recoura open against UNLV's Vitaliy Horovoy and Joel Gibson.
