FRISCO, Colo. -Â The Nevada Ski Team wrapped its first competition of the season Wednesday, competing in the Giant Slalom on Day Two of the Denver Invitational at Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
Charlotte Clément led the way with a 16th-place finish among RMISA skiers, turning in a second run of 49.67 for a final combined time of 1:39.85.
Zali Sutton turned in a second top-20 finish for the Pack, coming in with a time of 1:40.94.
Jessica Blackburn turned in Nevada's best run time with a 49.23 in her first run, but did not finish her second.
On the men's side,
Jules Baur had the top finish for the Wolf Pack, following a team-best 47.70 in the first run with a 49.12 for a combined time of 1:36.82.
Iver Walday Naess (1:37.67) and Jeger Halbjoerhus (1:39.69) were separated by just two-hundredths of a second, coming in 27th and 28th, respectively.
Nevada returns to action Feb. 3-4, traveling to Bozeman, Mont., for the Montana State Invitational.
