RENO, Nev. - Nevada Volleyball head coach Shannon Wyckoff-McNeal announced Thursday the addition of a pair of transfers, Haylee Brown (Maricopa, Ariz. / Maricopa HS / George Washington) and Jessica Walkenhorst (West Chester, Ohio / Lakota West HS / Miami (OH)).

Brown appeared in 53 matches and 162 sets over the last two seasons (2023-24) at George Washington, posting 188 kills across a .237 season-long hitting percentage this past fall. On defense, Brown contributed 26 digs and 41 blocks at the net. Over her time at George Washington, she averaged 1.49 kills and 0.30 blocks per set.

As a prep at Maricopa High School (Ariz.), Brown was named to 6A All-Conference First Team in 2022, also earning the region's Offensive Player of the Year. in 2022 and Player of the Year in 2023.

Walkenhorst spent her first collegiate season at Miami (OH), utilizing her redshirt. At Lakota West High School in Ohio, Walkenhorst was the volleyball program's team captain in her junior and senior seasons. She was a two-time selection to both the All-Conference First Team and All-District Third Team.
