RENO, Nev. - Nevada's senior outfielder,
Chelie Senini, was honored on the Mountain West's 25
th Season Softball team, the conference announced Tuesday.
Senini is in her fifth season with the Wolf Pack etching her name further into the record books with this honor of the Mountain West's year-long celebration of its top student-athletes across all sports in honor of the conference's 25
th season.
Senini holds the conference record in stolen bases in a single season with 49, a record set in 2023 after breaking her previous mark of 48, set in 2022. Senini's 49 steals came on 55 attempts, a stolen bases success rate of 89.1 percent. Senini recorded a conference leading 32 hits in the 2022 season in a conference high 85 at-bats in the lead off spot. Senini holds the school record in total stolen bases with 163 career steals.
The senior outfielder is a three-time All-Mountain West first team honoree (2021, 2022, 2023) as well as being named to the All-Mountain Preseason Team this season.
Senini finished the 2024 regular season batting .392 with 19 RBI, four doubles, three triples, and one home run. She recorded 73 hits and 54 runs in 186 at-bats. Over her five seasons with the Pack she has played in 217 games, starting in 215, recording a .354 batting average, 58 RBI,.414 slugging percentage, and a .938 fielding percentage.
