CLOVIS, Calif. – Camrin Dolcini medaled for the second consecutive year in a row in pole vault, securing second place overall to score eight points,
Valeria Paez Rueda and
Rayven Nealey also put more points on the scoreboard for Nevada, and three more final appearances heading into Saturday were captured to wrap day two of the Outdoor Mountain West Championships for Nevada, sitting in fourth place with 33 points.
To start the day, the remaining three events of the heptathlon got things going as Paez Rueda saw a mark of 5.19 meters, placing 10
th.
Kate Kadrmas reached her furthest mark of 4.96 meters to place 13
th.
Johanna Haas fouled all three attempts, unfortunately not allowing her to place.
Moving on to javelin, the multis kept the momentum going. Paez Rueda came away with a new personal record mark (35.33m) thrown on her first attempt, allowing her to place sixth in the event. Kadrmas (29.64m) was 11
th overall, heading into the final event of the heptathlon. Paez Rueda was able to climb back up one spot to sixth with 4,198 points while Kadrmas sat in 12
th with 3,685 points.
In the 800 meters, Paez Rueda sprinted across the finish line with a time of 2:28.40, placing ninth while Kadrmas wrapped the final race of her career with a time of 2:39.58. The Nevada multis would come away with Paez Rueda placing seventh with a new personal record of 4,911 points, scoring two points for the Pack while Kadrmas was 13
th with 4,263 points.

Alyssa Carson had a solid performance, tying for seventh with a mark of 3.73 meters while
Shayla Pedersen placed 15

In the 400-meter dash,
Annalies Kalma secured herself a spot in the final, running a new personal record time of 54.21, becoming second all-time in school history. With her time, Kalma will go into Saturday fifth overall.
Kylee Parsons (56.48) would finish 12
th while Lilly Gregg placed 16
th with a time of 57.16.
Sarah Marske represented Nevada in the 100-meter hurdles, where she qualified sixth going into Saturday's final with a time of 13.78.

In the long jump,
Rayven Nealey scored a spot in the final, advancing with her furthest mark of 5.98 meters. Competing in the final, Nealey kept her seventh-place spot, scoring two points for Nevada.
Wrapping the final track event of the day,
Natalia Martino and
Claire Nelson represented the Pack in the 3000-meter steeplechase where they secured 14
th and 15
th place finishes. Martino saw a new personal record in a time of 11:00.02 while Nelson saw a time of 11:05.31.
