The Field
The nine-team field at the Mountain West Championships consists of seven teams ranked within the top-100 in the country, including four teams that are ranked within the top-75. The eight teams competing in addition to Nevada include San José State, New Mexico, Fresno State, Colorado State, San Diego State, Boise State, UNLV, and Wyoming.

Projected Lineup
Leah John
Regarded as one of the best golfers in program history, Leah John will aim to capture her first Mountain West Individual Championship in her final collegiate season. A three-time individual champion this season, and four-time tournament winner throughout her career, John has put together an exceptional career for the Pack. The fifth-year senior has etched her name into the Wolf Pack Women's Golf record books and will seek to have another stellar performance at the conference championships. John has had some success at the Mountain West Championships during her career, finishing tied for 21st last season and tied for 18th in 2022.
Anna Shultse
Anna Shultse has performed at a high level for the Pack throughout the entire season and she will hold the second spot in the Nevada lineup entering the Mountain West Championships. Shultse has three top-five finishes this season, including one first-place finish at the Battle at the Boundary. In her first round of the season, she recorded a career-low score by matching the second best 18-hole score in program history (66). Shultse will look to have another strong outing and help the Pack secure a premier finish at the event.
Gabby Kano
Gabby Kano is playing arguably the best golf of her career, as she has earned two top-10 finishes in the Pack's past four events, including finishing tied for ninth at even par in Nevada's most regular season finale. Kano has been incredibly consistent for the Pack this season, finishing within the top-20 in seven of nine events throughout the season. The sophomore is second on the team with an adjusted scoring average of 73.7 and she will seek to maintain the momentum that she has built up this spring and put together an exceptional outing at the Mountain West Championships.
Nikki Chindavong
Nikki Chindavong enters the Mountain West Championships with two top-10 finishes this season and an adjusted scoring average of 75.8. Chindavong has put together an impressive freshman campaign thus far and will look to cap it off with a strong performance in the first conference championship of her young career.
Payton Lovisa
Payton Lovisa is coming off the best round of her career, as the freshman posted an even-par-72 in the final round of the Cowgirl Classic to finish the event tied for 40th overall at +8. Lovisa has shown her tremendous potential at different points throughout the season and will aim to close out a solid freshman campaign with a stellar outing at the Mountain West Championships.
