RENO, Nev. - After a historical performance where he matched the eighth-best 54-hole score in program history to capture the first individual title of his career and lead the Nevada Men's Golf team to their first team title since Fall 2021, Enrique Dimayuga has been named the Mountain West Golfer of the Week. 

Dimayuga had a sensational performance at the UCSB Gaucho Invitational en route to his first collegiate title, as well as the first individual title by a Wolf Pack golfer since Fall 2022. The senior from London, England recorded a 54-hole score of 204 (-12), to earn the first-place finish by two strokes. 

Dimayuga opened the Gaucho Invitational by carding a 68 (-4), after tallying 10 pars, six birdies, and just two bogeys. 

The senior then proceeded to put together a near-perfect second-round performance, as he recorded an immaculate score of 66 (-6). Throughout the second round, Dimayuga had 10 pars, seven birdies, and one bogey, as he held a one-stroke lead for first place entering the final round. 

Dimayuga entered the back nine of the third round tied with one other golfer for first place; and, the senior displayed exceptional poise and resiliency, as he recorded six pars, two birdies, and one bogey over the final nine holes to secure the individual title. 

Dimayuga has been outstanding for the Pack since joining the program ahead of the spring season. The senior has compiled an adjusted scoring average of 70.1 in five events, and he has earned two top-three finishes. 

Nevada will now turn its attention to the El Macero Classic, as they are set to begin play at their final event of the regular season Friday morning with the Mountain West Championships on the horizon.
