RENO, Nev. – Nevada Volleyball released its 2024 Mountain West schedule, as announced by the conference Thursday.

"We are eager to compete this upcoming season," said head coach Shannon Hunt. "Our schedule will be very challenging, and we have a lot of work to do, but I am excited to see how our team rises to the occasion against these very talented teams!"

This season will mark the first under Hunt, joined by newly hired assistant coach Jason Sterrett and assistant Norene Iosia, returning from the 2023 staff.

The Pack's 2024 conference campaign features nine home matches and nine away, with Nevada facing every Mountain West team twice, apart from Fresno State and San José State. The conference slate will kick off with a two-day homestand Thursday, Sept. 26, versus Wyoming and Saturday, Sept. 28, against Colorado State.

Nevada will then travel down south to play UNLV Thursday, October 3, in a Silver State Series contest presented by America First Credit Union, followed by a Saturday contest against San Diego State October 5. The squad will return home for three consecutive matches at Virgina Street Gym, playing Thursday, Saturday, and Tuesday. Thursday's match will be against Air Force, Saturday's matchup will be against New Mexico, and rounding out the three-day series is Tuesday's match versus Utah State.

The next five contests will feature three road matches and two in Reno. On back-to-back Thursdays, the Pack will travel first to Boise State October 17, then face Fresno State October 24. Nevada will return home Saturday, October 26, hosting San José State before traveling to Logan to face Utah State October 29. On Saturday, November 2, Boise State will host the Pack to round out those five matchups.

For the final six matches, Nevada will alternate between two away contests and two home matchups, ultimately ending the season on the road before the top six teams in the conference standings advance to the Mountain West Championship, scheduled for November 27-30 in Las Vegas.

Thursday, November 7, the team will take on New Mexico in Albuquerque before heading to Colorado for the return matchup at Air Force. The Pack's final two scheduled home matches will be Thursday, November 14, versus San Diego State followed with the last match of the Silver State Series against UNLV Saturday, November 16. Rounding out the season, the Wolf Pack will take on Colorado State Thursday, November 21, and Wyoming Saturday, November 23.

The non-conference portion of the schedule will be announced later.
