RENO, Nev. – Nevada Volleyball's Bella Snyder is set to represent the Wolf Pack in the 2024 Mountain West Global Challenge from July 12-21, announced by the conference Wednesday.
 
The trip will last nine total days, beginning in Maribor, Slovenia with trips to Pula, Croatia and Venice, Italy. The conference is sending 12 student-athletes from nine institutions to represent the Mountain West, marking the eighth consecutive year the conference has participated in the event. This year's team will be led by Colorado State's Ted Kopacz and Utah State's Chloe Hirst.
 
"I am so proud that Bella was chosen to represent the University of Nevada Volleyball program during the Global Challenge," said head coach Shannon Hunt. "This will be a tremendous opportunity for her to hone her skills as a middle, develop her leadership skills on and off the court, while experiencing the beautiful Croatian culture. I also want to thank our athletic department for their support in sending Bella.  We are grateful for the support!"
 
Snyder, the middle blocker from Salem, Oregon, marks the seventh player from Nevada to be selected to the roster, the last time being in 2023 when the Mountain West selected Gabby McLaughlin.
 
Coming off her sophomore season with the Pack, Snyder saw action in 110 sets, tying her career high in points with 18 total and totaled 147 kills, 108 total blocks, 50 digs, and 17 service aces. Snyder also hit her season high hitting percentage (.667) against the San Diego State Aztecs during their October 14^th match.
