Pack Finishes Tied for 22nd at The Goodwin

SAN FRANCISCO - The Nevada Men's Golf team closed out play at TPC Harding Park for The Goodwin on Saturday, carding a final round score of 287 (+7) to finish tied for 22nd in an exceptional 31-team field.  

Nevada concluded the 54-hole event with a score of 868 (+28), as they matched Santa Clara and Long Beach State to finish tied with those teams for the 22nd position on the leaderboard.

Enrique Dimayuga had a prolific tournament, as he finished tied for 33rd in a field of 168 golfers. Dimayuga recorded a score of 72 (+2) on Saturday, bringing his 54-hole score to 213 (+3). Dimayuga had an exceptional back-nine Saturday; entering the 10th hole at +3, Dimayuga parred eight consecutive holes before earning a birdie on the par-4 18th hole. 

Sophomore Alex Maxwell had his best round of the tournament on Saturday, carding an impressive even-par 70. Maxwell advanced 24 spots on the leaderboard Saturday, and he finished tied for 68th overall with a three-round score of 218 (+8). Maxwell recorded 14 pars, two bogeys, and two birdies throughout the final round.  

Keita Okada matched Dimayuga's score on Saturday, as the senior carded a 72 (+2) for the third round of The Goodwin. Okada concluded the event with a 54-hole score of 220 (+10), as he finished tied for 92nd in the individual standings. Okada struggled on the front-nine Saturday, as he entered the 10th hole at +3. Okada was sensational on the back-nine, picking up a birdie on the par-5 10th hole, before reeling off eight consecutive pars to end the round.  

Tom Patterson turned in his best performance of The Goodwin on Saturday, as he recorded a 73 (+3), marking his best score throughout the event. Patterson had a 54-hole score of 223 (+13), as he finished tied for 125th on the leaderboard. Patterson had 16 pars, one bogey, and one double bogey during the final round.  

Liam Gobin rounded out the Wolf Pack lineup, as he finished tied for 140th overall. Gobin carded a 78 (+8) for the final round, bringing his 54-hole score to 225 (+15). 

Competing as an individual participant, Oak (Supakit) Seelanagae finished tied for 145th with a score of 226 (+16).
