SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Nevada track and field concluded the Aztec Invitational Saturday afternoon, finishing third overall in the team standings with 77 points with a handful of personal records and all-time list appearances. The Pack finished ahead of Mountain West rivals UNLV while Arizona State took the crown in the women's standings with 108.50 points.

The four members of the Pack representing in javelin (
Emily Poole,
Hallee Hughes,
Izzy Steerman,
Johanna Haas) all advanced to the final of the event after their initial performances through the first three throws. In the final, Hughes would lead the Pack after reaching a new personal record mark of 46.03 meters on her sixth and final attempt, securing second place overall. Right behind Hughes was Poole, also reaching her furthest throw on her final attempt (45.47m), finishing third. Steerman would come in sixth (40.19), followed by Haas in eighth with a mark of 38.53 meters. With their finishes, the women would put a combined 18 points on the board for Nevada.

In the 4x100-meter relay, Nevada's 'A' squad made up of
Kylee Parsons, Bonét Henderson,
Annalies Kalma, and
Magdalene George secured a seventh-place finish in a time of 46.41, scoring four points, while Nevada's 'B' team (Lilly Gregg,
Sarah Marske,
Madison Kalberer,
Jasmine Harris) finished 13
th with a time of 47.59.
Nevada had three teams compete in the 4x400 meter relay, with Nevada's 'A' team finishing fifth in a time of 3:47.03. Nevada's 'B' and 'C' squads claimed sixth and ninth respectively.
 The first individual track event of the day featured
Sarah Marske in the 100-meter hurdles, claiming a 13
th place finish in a time of 13.85. In the 400 meters,
Annalies Kalma saw a new personal record of 54.53, moving up to fourth all-time in the event in school history and placing fourth overall, scoring five points.
Jasmine Harris (59.71) was 27
th.

Rayven Nealey and
Natasha Chetty represented the Pack in the long jump. Chetty secured a 16
th place finish with a new outdoor personal record mark of 5.64 meters. Nealey earned a new personal record mark twice on her first and third attempts, first reaching 6.03 meters and then on her third, 6.08 meters, to advance to the final. Her mark of 6.08 meters is now third all-time in Nevada school history. In the final, Nealey would finish third, adding on six more points to Nevada's overall team total.

In the 100 meters, the Wolf Pack had six members of the team represented in the event. Leading the charge was
Magdalene George, who claimed ninth in a new personal record time of 11.67, moving up from her previous spot on the all-time list to tied for sixth. Bonét Henderson (12.37) and
Kylee Parsons (12.46) came in 35
th and 40
th respectively, while Marske, seeing her second race of the afternoon, was 43
rd (12.56). Rounding out the field were Lilly Gregg and
Johanna Haas who finished 49
th and 50
th.

Hughes's second event of the day featured the discus, where she advanced to the final after her three initial throws, ultimately finishing ninth with her furthest mark of 37.06 meters.

Kylee Denver represented Nevada solo in the 800 meters, finishing with a time of 2:17.55 to earn 15
th. In the 400-meter hurdles, Ovedje saw the highest finish for Nevada in seventh with a time of 1:02.23. Close behind was
Melia Middleton in ninth (1:02.86).
Kylie Burton (1:03.07),
Brynn McNabb (1:06.26), and
Leylah Diaz (1:06.44) finished 12
th, 22
nd, and 24
th respectively.

The pole vault trio made up of
Alyssa Carson,
Samantha Irwin, and
Shayla Pedersen had a successful outing overall. Carson saw a massive personal record (3.72m), tying for seventh place in the event. Her mark came just outside of the Nevada all-time list in the event. Irwin also saw a new personal record mark (3.50m) tying for 17
th overall. Pedersen (3.27m) was tied for 22
nd.

Nealey, alongside
Maria Paz Milani and
Meekness Dogonyaro, secured second, third, and fourth place finishes in the triple jump, with marks of 12.29 meters, 12.27 meters, and 12.16 meters.

The Pack will have double the fun next week as they continue the outdoor season competing at both the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Invitational March 31-April 1.
