Nevada Men’s Golf Closes Out Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate with Stellar Final Round Performance

TUCSON, Ariz. –  The Nevada Men's Golf team saved their best for last at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, turning in a stellar final round performance to conclude the event in sole possession of sixth-place on the final leaderboard in a highly competitive 14-team field.

The Pack closed out the tournament by carding a final round score of 289 (+1), marking their best 18-hole score of the event. Nevada compiled a 54-hole score of 891 (+27) to earn the sixth-place finish.

Enrique Dimayuga was exceptional in the final round, recording a score of 70 (-2), after tallying 10 pars and five birdies. Dimayuga concluded the event tied for 17th overall on the leaderboard, with a 54-hole score of 220 (+4).

Suapkit (Oak) Seelanagae also had an impressive final round for Nevada, as he carded a 73 (+1) for the second consecutive round. Seelanagae had 11 pars and four birdies throughout the round, and his score of 73 brought his 54-hole total to 221 (+5), as he finished the tournament tied for 20th.

Liam Gobin matched Seelanagae's final round score, carding a 73 (+1) of his own. Gobin had a consistent round, recording 16 pars and one birdie. Gobin completed the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate tied for 22nd at +6.

Tom Patterson had his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, recording a score of 73 (+1) to close out the event. Patterson had 11 pars and three birdies throughout the final set of 18 holes, and he finished tied for 51st on the final individual leaderboard at +13.

Jonathan Kim also had his best performance of the 54-hole event, as he carded a 75 (+3) for the final round. Kim had 11 pars and two birdies in the final round, and his score of 75 in the final round placed him in a tie for 54th with a three-round score of 230 (+14).
