SPOKANE, Wash. – Senior
Sarah Marske made things look easy Saturday afternoon as she set the school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal record mark of 8.45, claiming third overall in the event and now ranks in the top-100 in the NCAA DI College Indoor Rankings to highlight the final day of the Riverfront Invitational, hosted by Washington State.
"Sarah's school record was really amazing for her. The level of commitment is really showing," said head coach
Shantel Twiggs. "We have had some technical things to address and we believe she can run faster. The triple jumpers had some awesome breakthroughs. The 4x400 meter relay ran the second fastest time in school history, and Halyn's anchor (53.84) was the fastest split we've ever had by a Nevada woman. Halyn and Annalies hitting lifetime indoor personal bests was great to see, and they looked so strong doing it. I'm very proud of how we competed and I am looking forward to the way we continue to move the needle. I like where we are with the opporunity in front of us to continue to grow!"Â
