Stockton, Calif. - Nevada Men's Golf kicked off the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational with 18 holes today, finishing the first round in 14th.

The Wolf Pack sit in 14th in the 15-team field after posting a team score of 290 (+6) in Monday's first round. 

The first round saw some stellar finishes from Jonathan Kim and Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae, who both fired off three birdies in their final five holes. Seelanagae leads the way for the Pack after an opening round 70 (-1). He is closely followed by Jonathan Kim who posted an even-par 70, thanks to three birdies in his closing holes. Next best for the Pack was Ben Ortwein, who shot 74 (+3) and struggled on the back nine, following a one-under front nine. 

Rounding out the Pack were underclassmen combo Aaron Leach and Rishi Gupta. Gupta, in his first competition round at Nevada posted a 75, while Leach posted a 77. 

Sloan Henggeler, competing as an individual, finished the day at -1 (70), a solid round. 

The Pack are back tomorrow for Tuesday's second round.
