Gailey Closes out Historical Career at NCAA Regionals

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Nevada women's golfer Victoria Gailey closed out what has been a sensational collegiate career at the NCAA San Antonio Regional Wednesday afternoon, carding a 76 (+4) throughout the third round to complete the event tied for 41st with a 54-hole score of 228 (+12).

Gailey started off the final round with a double bogey on the par-4 1st hole; however, she responded with six consecutive pars. Gailey picked up a bogey on the 8th hole, prior to parring the 9th hole.

On the back nine, she tallied one birdie, two bogeys, and six pars, finishing the day at four shots above par.

The end of the event also marks the end of Gailey's career with the Pack, and she will go down as one of the best golfers in program history.

The fifth-year senior concludes her time with the Pack with her name listed all throughout the Nevada Women's Golf record book.

Her final season was one of the best single-seasons in program history, as she completes the year with three individual titles, the lowest single season average score in program history (71.12), All-Mountain West First Team Honors, and an NCAA Regional appearance.
