MILLBRAE, Calif. - Victoria Gailey, Leah John, and Anitra Khoth each finished within the top-25 of the final leaderboard, fueling the Nevada Women's Golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Silicon Valley Showcase.
The Pack shot 306 (+22) on the final day of competition, bringing their 54-hole score to 909 (+57), as they secured the fourth-place finish.
Gailey led the way for the Pack individually, carding a 75 (+4) to complete the event tied for seventh with a three-round score of 219 (+6). Gailey had two birdies and 10 pars throughout the round.
The seventh-place finish marks the fifth time out of seven total events that Gailey has earned a top-10 finish in what has been nothing short of a sensational season for the fifth-year senior.
John also had a stellar outing for the Pack, finishing tied for 11th on the final leaderboard with a 54-hole score of 223 (+10). John shot 75 (+4) in the final round after accumulating two birdies and 10 pars. John has now finished within the top-17 in six of seven events this season.
Khoth was the third Pack golfer to finish within the top-25 on the leaderboard, as she completed the tournament tied for 23rd with a three-round score of 231 (+18). Khoth closed out the event by recording a 77 (+6) in the final round.
Kayla Nocum finished fourth in the Nevada lineup and tied for 33rd overall with a combined score of 236 (+23). She shot 79 (+8) in the third and final round.
Freshman Gabby Kano rounded out the Wolf Pack lineup, earning a tie for 43rd after recording a 54-hole score of 241 (+28). Kano carded an 82 (+11) on Tuesday to finish off the tournament.
Competing as an individual participant, Kaitlin Fleiner finished the event tied for 33rd with a three-round score of 236 (+23).
Stanford and Pepperdine completed the tournament as co-champions in the team competition, and Pepperdine golfer Lion Higo won the individual title.

Nevada is slated to head to Rancho Mirage, California for the 2023 Mountain West Championships. The conference tournament is set to begin on Tuesday, April 18 and will conclude on Thursday, April 20.
