NEDERLAND, Colo. – Nevada skiing wraps up the second day of the Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invite to conclude competition Friday afternoon.

Honor Clissold led the way for the women, finishing in 32
nd overall with a time of 1:57.94.
Georgie Sullivan came in 48
th with a time of 2:00.70, while
Sixtine Piccard,
Elle Murphy, and
Tiia Nurminen all finished within two places of each other in 53
rd, 55
th, and 57
th.

For the men's giant slalom,
Francesco Colombi earned the highest finish for the Pack in 39
th, with a 1:51.66, significantly moving up in the rankings after his first run effort (54.49) placed him 55
th. His second run (57.17) was the 36
th fastest in the field, allowing him to ultimately finish in the top 40. Ibon Minetgui saw the second highest finish for Nevada, 42
nd with a time of 1:52.27. Jeger Halbjoerhus and Iver Naess posted run one efforts of 53.00 and 53.12, Halbjoerhus's being the 28
th fastest in the field.

Nevada will continue their weekend competing at the Denver Invitational February 11-12 in the slalom event.
