Nevada soccer inks four in Valentine’s first fall signing class

RENO, Nev. - Nevada soccer head coach Vanessa Valentine signed four players to the Pack for the 2024 season.

Valentine's first fall signing class for Nevada soccer includes Ariel Bolton (Forward, Temecula, California), Morgan Duke (Defender, Salem, Oregon), Natalie Sippos (Midfielder, Bozeman, Montana) and Dyllan Willamson (Defender, Santee, California).

"We are pumped to welcome Ariel, Morgan, Natalie and Dyllan to the Pack and are excited that they are in this fall signing class," Valentine said. "We wanted to bring in student-athletes who demonstrate great toughness physically and mentally as well as high character individuals that will represent our program on and off the pitch. Morgan and Dyllan give us great depth at the center back position. Ariel is a great attacking striker that will impact our offense. Natalie is a dynamic midfielder that can play in multiple spots in our formations. This is a great class that will help us elevate Nevada soccer."

Ariel Bolton - 5-6, Forward, Temecula, California (Great Oak HS)
Bolton's goal-scoring impact was immediate for Great Oak High School. After leading Great Oak with 11 goals as a freshman, Bolton scored eight goals in each of the next two seasons. She was also a recipient of the Varsity Leadership Award, Varsity Spirit Award, and received a certificate of excellence.

Bolton is not the only one in her family to compete at the Division I level. Her father, Terrell, played basketball at Southern Miss and was a member of the 2000-01 Golden Eagles' team that won the Conference USA regular season title.

Morgan Duke - 5-11, Defender, Salem, Oregon (West Salem HS)
Coming to Nevada as a center back, Duke also brings high-powered goal-scoring to the Pack. The three-time First Team All-League selection has scored over 50 goals at West Salem High School. At the club level, Duke played for the nationally ranked Portland Thorns Academy.

Duke is the second member of her family to play collegiate soccer at the Division I level, with her sister Lauren recently completing her freshman season at Boston University. Her father, Darin, was a Division I baseball player at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Natalie Sippos - 5-1, Midfielder, Bozeman, Mont. (Gallatin HS)
Sippos scored 16 goals and registered 34 assists in her Gallatin High School career. Earning All-Conference honors in 2021, Sippos was named All-State in 2022 and is a three-time Academic All-State honoree.

After Gallatin High School finished as a Montana AA state finalist in 2021, Sippos' play helped her team to a conference and state championship while going undefeated in 2022. Sippos will be the second person in her family to compete at the collegiate level, with her mother Jill being a member of the swimming and diving team at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Dyllan Williamson - 5-9, Defender, Santee, Calif. (Cathedral Catholic HS)
As a three-year letterwinner in soccer at Cathedral Catholic High School, Williamson helped her team to a pair of Western League titles. Williamson has not only shined at Cathedral Catholic High School, but has been on multiple schools' radar at the club level.

Winning the 13U National Championship with the Albion Club, Williamson went on to play for the SoCal Blues and helped her team to a pair of round of 16 appearances in the Champions League. She currently competes for the Pateadores Soccer Club under coach Randy Dodge.

Nevada finished the 2023 season with a 6-10-5 overall record, doubling its wins from the previous year. With its No. 6 seed in the Mountain West Tournament, the Pack had their strongest finish in conference play in the last decade. Junior forward Emily Rich earned a spot on the All-Mountain West Second Team while redshirt freshman Ally Larkin was named to the All-Mountain West Newcomer Team.
