RENO, Nev. – Nevada Women's Soccer added four new signees for the 2026 season. Nevada's 2026 class features 18 total newcomers; six high‑school signees who signed previously and twelve additions brought in since December.

Coach Evans on class: "All of these players are tremendous additions to the University of Nevada and will help us achieve our goal of elevating the women's soccer program within the Mountain West. Haylie was a standout on the top junior college team in NorCal two years ago for me at Lake Tahoe CC, and she proved to be a dependable and capable defender at the NCAA level with Jessup in 2025. She was a bright spot for us in the spring after transferring via the portal, and graduating from Reed High, she has great pride in representing our university and local area. Carmen has been one of the most lethal goal scorers at the junior college level, and her physical presence and strong desire to succeed should provide immediate dividends for Nevada. Reika is exactly the possession-based center midfielder we prefer for our game model, and her tactical awareness and technical ability should translate well. Posie and Olivia, meanwhile, provide quality and proven experience out wide in our system. Olivia won a California JC championship, and knowing that level well, she's been well-coached and will transition easily."

Carmen Coronado | F | Phoenix College | Glendale, Arizona
Coronado arrives in Reno as one of the most decorated players in Phoenix College history. A two‑time NJCAA first‑team All‑American and two‑time ACCAC Player of the Year, she totaled 44 goals and 24 assists (112 points) across her two‑year career, establishing herself as one of the nation's most dominant junior college attacking threats in 2023 and 2024. A product of Glendale High School, she earned 5A all‑region honors twice and competed for Excel Soccer Academy, where she further developed into a high‑level finisher.

Reika Yuba | M | Arizona Western College | Wakayama, Japan
Yuba joins Nevada after helping Arizona Western reach back‑to‑back NJCAA National Championship appearances, a No. 2 final national ranking, and a 17–2 record during the 2025 season. She started for the Matadors and contributed four goals in a midfield role. Before AWC, she starred at Salt Lake Community College, earning NJCAA All‑West Region honors as a freshman in 2024 after leading the Bruins with 12 goals and 5 assists (29 points) and guiding them to the NJCAA Tournament semifinals and a No. 4 national ranking. Her blend of creativity, work rate, and championship experience makes her an immediate asset in the midfield.

Posie Armstong | D | Faith Lutheran High School | Las Vegas, Nevada
Armstrong arrives after anchoring the back line for Faith Lutheran, helping the Crusaders capture back‑to‑back Nevada 5A state championships and finish No. 11 nationally her senior year. She earned 5A All‑State and All‑Southern Nevada honors while serving as a defensive leader for one of the state's premier programs. At the club level, Armstrong competed for Albion SC, guiding the team to the Girls Academy playoffs, a third‑place finish in Champions Cup, multiple Mayors Cup titles, and championships at both Surf Cup and Players Showcase. She was also selected for the GA Talent ID program, underscoring her status as one of the region's top defensive prospects.

Haylie Rok | D | William Jessup | Sparks, Nevada
Rok spent the 2025 season at Jessup University, where she appeared in 15 matches and anchored the Warriors' defensive unit while adding two shots to the attack. Before Jessup, she was a two‑year impact player at Lake Tahoe Community College, helping the Coyotes secure back‑to‑back Golden Valley Conference championships and making 43 career appearances with 6 goals and 15 assists. Her play was instrumental in LTCC's postseason success, guiding the program to a CCCAA NorCal Regional berth as a freshman and a NorCal Regional Semifinal appearance as a sophomore, culminating in first-team All‑GVC honors in 2024.
