LUBBOCK, Texas – Sophomore
Natasha Chetty finished first overall in the high jump event to set a new indoor personal record and now sits tied for seventh on Nevada's indoor all-time top-10 list to conclude the final day of the Texas Tech Open Saturday.
"I'm really proud of how hard we competed," said head coach
Shantel Twiggs. "We had a few top-10 performances. It's not what we want, but I know we will continue to work hard and grow as we move into the last month of the season."Â

The Seychelles native cleared a height of 1.75m to beat her previous record of 1.61 meters set at the Spokane Invitational last month. This mark allowed her to jump up on Nevada's Indoor all-time top-10 list, where she now is tied for seventh place with three former Wolf Pack athletes (Kelly Eaton, Kinsey Minter, and Lea Halmans).

Sophomore
Camrin Dolcini started the day off in pole vault, earning a seventh-place finish overall. Dolcini cleared the first height of 3.73 to move on to the next, set at 3.88. After missing it on her first attempt, she cleared it on the second, before ultimately missing all three attempts at the next height of 4.03.

In the triple jump, senior
Rayven Nealey earned a ninth-place finish, her highest jump recorded at 12.43 meters. This is just off her personal record of 12.65, set at the 2022 Indoor Mountain West Championships.
Maria Paz Milani finished just behind Nealey in 10
th place, her highest jump 12.18 meters, and rounding out the Pack,

st with a mark of 11.46 meters.

Nevada was represented by only one athlete in the 800 meters event, junior
Raegan Gorzeman, who secured a top 20 finish in the race. Gorzeman placed 18
th with a time of 2:23.00.

In the mile, distance runners Maddy Shipman,
Marije Hijman, and
Kylee Denver represented the Pack. Shipman saw the highest finish for Nevada, finishing in 18
th place, and going on to win her heat with a 5:25.78. Hijman came up just behind Shipman, finishing in 19
th place with a time of 5:26.26, and Denver finished in 25
th in 5:33.93.

Three Wolf Pack athletes earned top-10 finishes in the 3000 meter event.Graduate student
Emily Clarke ran her way to a third place finish in 9:49.18, only three seconds off her personal record of 9:46.47. Clarke's time now puts her at ninth all-time in the event for Nevada. Sophomore
Claire Nelson and junior
Paige Penrose ran the race for the first time in their collegiate careers, Nelson finishing in ninth place with a 10:38.98, while Penrose finished 10
th in 10:39.69.

Nevada's A relay competed in the 4x400, the final event of the day.
Annalies Kalma,
Raegan Gorzeman, Lilly Gregg, and
Emily Costello placed
11th and posted a 3:47.47 to earn the fourth-place spot on Nevada's all-time top-10 list. This comes just after Nevada's performance from the Spokane Invitational in December (3:47.26) earned the third all-time best time.

The Pack continues their season next at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational on February 10-11.
