RENO, Nev. - Nevada makes the return trip to San Diego State this weekend, visiting the Aztecs for three games at Tony Gwynn Stadium Friday-Sunday.

First pitch for Friday's and Saturday's contests at are set for 6 p.m., with Sunday's finale at 1 p.m.

All three games will be carried over the airwaves at 94.1 FM/1450 AM CBS Sports Radio, with John Ramey on the call. The three contests will also be livestreamed on the Mountain West Network.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada returned to Mountain West play after a two-week hiatus, and returned to Peccole Park after three weeks away, capturing two of three from New Mexico May 6-8.

The Pack scored 41 runs over the three games against the Lobos, beginning with 18 in Friday night's series-opening victory.

After dropping Saturday's game, 17-10, the Pack came back behind the arm of Kade Morris, taking Sunday's rubber game, 13-4.

ABOUT SAN DIEGO STATE
San Diego State has put together two-straight weekends of winning baseball in Mountain West play, taking two of three at Fresno State (April 29-May 1) then at home against Air Force (May 6-8).

The Aztecs are 5-4 over their past nine contests, a stretch which includes a non-conference win over Long Beach State.

This weekend will mark the second series between the Aztecs and Wolf Pack. Nevada took two of three from San Diego State April 1-3 at Peccole Park, capturing the rubber game, 8-6.

TWO BACK WITH SIX TO PLAY
With six conference games left, Nevada (15-9 MW) is back just two games of Mountain West-leading UNLV (17-7 MW) heading into the weekend.

Key to the race for the regular-season title and Mountain West Championship seeding, the Pack owns the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Rebels, due to winning the only series of the season between the two teams.

THE BATS WOKE UP
The Nevada offense got back to its explosiveness this past weekend against New Mexico, going off for 50 hits, 16 of the extra-base variety, and 41 runs over the three-game series. This came a week after collecting just 25 hits, and six for extra bases, and 15 runs over a four-game set at Arizona.

Five Pack players had at least six hits in the series against the Lobos, led by seven from Joshua Zamora, and the team posted a collective .493 on-base percentage.

WALLACE ON A TEAR
Sophomore infielder Landon Wallace has shot his way up the team, and Mountain West, statistical rankings with his performance over the past four weeks.

In the 14 games since an April 16 matchup with Air Force, Wallace has batted a team-best .413 (19-for-46) with four doubles, two home runs, 13 RBIs, and 15 runs scored. He's also led the team with a .534 on-base percentage over that span, thanks in part to six walks and being hit by a pitch a team-leading six times.

This stretch has brought Wallace into the Mountain West top 10 in on-base percentage (.491, second) and batting average (.359, ninth) while, in the Nevada team rankings, he's now second (among full-timers) in batting and tops in on-base percentage and hit-by-pitches (14, tied with Anthony Flores).
