NEVADA CAREER
JUNIOR (2023): Appeared in 15 games, making 10 starts ... Struck out 53 batters over 59.0 innings, with two wins ... Struck out four in a 2.1-inning relief appearance at Abilene Christian (Feb. 18) ... Had a strikeout over an inning of scoreless relief against California Baptist (Feb. 25) ... Got his first win by holding USC to just two runs on three hits with three strikeouts over six innings (March 8) ... Picked up his second win over a Pac-12 school, this time striking out a career-high eight while holding Oregon State to just a run on six hits over six innings (March 14) ... Struck out four and allowed just one hit over three innings of scoreless relief in the finale against UNLV (March 19) ... Went six innings, striking out five and giving up just two earned runs at San Diego State (April 22).

SOPHOMORE (2022): Appeared in 16 games, making nine starts on the mound ... Went 5-2, tying for second on the team in wins, also second on the team in strikeouts (55) and innings pitched (69.1) ... Picked up the win at Grand Canyon, going 5.1 scoreless innings of relief, allowing just two hits and striking out four (Feb. 19) ... Won in relief, again, at UC Santa Barbara, striking out two and giving up just one run over 2.2 innings (Feb. 26) ... Picked up his third win, again in relief, against San José State (March 12) ... gave up just one run on two hits over 2.1 innings of work to get the win in relief against Dixie State (March 15) ... Allowed just three runs over 6.1 innings in start at Arizona, but took a no-decision (April 29) ... Picked up his first win in a start by going seven innings, allowing four runs (two earned) against New Mexico (May 6) ... Took a no-decision at San Diego State despite going six innings and allowing just two runs (May 13).

FRESHMAN (2021) -- Made two appearances out of the bullpen during his rookie season … Totaled 3.2 innings on the mound and posted an ERA of 2.45 only allowing one earned run on three hits … Struck out five batters to just one walk … Threw a season-high 2.2 innings with four strikeouts during a win over San Jose State on May 29.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Graduated from Placer High School in northern California where he was a two-sport athlete in baseball and basketball … Earned first team all-league honors in 2018 and second team all-league in 2019.

PERSONAL -- Son of Forrest and Danelle Stumbo … Has a younger sister, Allyson … Chose Nevada because of its proximity to home and for the connection to the coaching staff and program … Also recruited by UC Irvine and Arizona … Lists Francisco Lindor as his sports hero … The most memorable moment of his pre-Nevada career was scoring a game-winning run after stealing home during his junior year … Enjoys mountain biking, fishing, hunting and spending time with family in his free time.
