EWA BEACH, Hawai'i – Nevada women's golf tied for seventh in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Hoakalei Country Club in 'Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
Sacramento State (+21) bested hosts Hawai'I (+26) by five strokes to win the tournament with California Baptist (+27) third, Louisiana Monroe (+38) in fourth, Grand Canyon (+40) in fifth, UC Riverside (+49) in sixth, and Nevada as well as Long Beach (+53) tied for seventh.
Leah John finished 11th with a seven-over marking after shooting 76 during the final 18 holes of play today.
Victoria Gailey shot 74 to post 10-over and tie for 16th.
Kaitlin Fleiner closed the 54-hole tournament with a 78 and tied for 28th (+14).
Anitra Khoth ended the tournament with an 81 (+24) and finished 48th and
Kayla Nocum tied for 52nd after shooting 80 for a 29-over event.
The Pack is back in action on Mar. 21 in the Fresno State Classic at the Belmont Country Club in Fresno, Calif.
