BREMERTON, Wash. – The Nevada men's golf team is in 6th place after two rounds at the Husky Invitational.
The Pack challenged for the top of the leaderboard all day, closing the first round of today's action in fifth place at seven-under just four shots back of the hosts Washington (1st, -11).
During the second round, the Wolf Pack were one over and finished at six-under, holding onto sixth and just one shot back of Oregon State (t4, -7). Washington (-23), on the other hand, exploded with a 12-under second round to grab a commanding 14-stroke lead over the field.

Peyton Callens is tied for 11
th (-4) after posting rounds of 69 and 71,
Quim Vidal Mora shot three-under (70, 71) for the day to tie for 15
th,
A.J. Lintunen posted a one-under (69, 74) and sits tied for 26
th,
Trey Davis made five birdies but a double bogey on 10 and bogies on 14 and 18 dropped him to two over and tied for 39
th, and
Michael Sarro posted a five-over to tie for 52
nd through 18 holes.

The Pack is back in action with an 8 a.m. shotgun-start to the final round in the Husky Invitational at the Gold Mountain on Tuesday.
