Reno, Nev. - The Nevada volleyball team finishes the annual Silver and Blue Scrimmage with the Silver team winning in three sets on Monday evening.

The silver squad won three sets with scores of 25-15, 25-22, and 25-18 but the blue team took the third set with 25-18, leaving it 3-1 at the end.

While the match was broken up into teams, the players also spent time playing on both teams. This was the first game action for newcomers, Sia Liilii, Sophie Mangold, and Sydney Wyman. With all players playing a significant time on the court.

The Pack will continue preseason playing on Aug. 18 with an exhibition game against Pacific in Stockton, Calif. The game will be closed to the public. Nevada volleyball will officially start the season on Aug. 27 and 28 on the road at the Idaho Tournament.
