Pack falls in four sets at Utah State

LOGAN, Utah – The Nevada volleyball team fell in four sets to Utah State on Thursday at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
 
Nevada fell to 3-10 on the year while Utah State improved to 4-8. Nevada will return home to Virginia Street Gym and play host to UNLV on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The Wolf Pack fell 25-22 in the first two sets but rallied hard in the third set to claim the win at 28-26 and extend the match. Senior Kassie McGill notched a kill to go up one at the end and then delivered a service ace for the win.
 
But the Aggies came back to claim a 25-16 in the fourth set for the win.
 
McGill led Nevada with 11 kills while Briana Souza had 10. Reserve Chelsea Vaughn filled in as setter for the Pack and finished with 36 assists.
