LAS VEGAS – The Nevada swim team finished the first day of the Mountain West Championships tied for third with Wyoming, registering a two-event score of 106. San Diego State's score of 128 puts the Aztecs in first. UNLV sits in second with a score of 112.
The Pack's 200 medley relay team of
Josien Wijkhuijs, Donne dePolo,
Julia Adamczyk and
Colette Berkenfield placed third with a final time of 1:39.22 to start the night. Next, Nevada's 800-yard freestyle relay team of
Mariana Vignoli,
Caitlyn McHugh,
Julia Adamczyk and
Emma Brady finished fourth with a final time of 7:19.86.
