RENO, Nev. – The Nevada baseball team has added a single game at No. 2 UCLA for May 18.
The addition comes after the announcement that San José State's baseball program has suspended all baseball activities until the end of March, which affects the Wolf Pack's originally scheduled road games with the Spartans for March 6-7.
UCLA enters the 2021 season as the No. 2 ranked team in the nation after finishing the shortened 2020 season 13-2 and ranked No. 5 at the time of the cancelation.
Nevada and UCLA have played 13 times in program history, but have not met on the diamond since 2005. The Wolf Pack has the slight upper hand in the all-time series, winning seven of the previous 13 contests.
Nevada will kick off the 2021 season this weekend with a four-game series at Cal Poly, beginning Friday evening with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
