Nevada is set for the last two home matches of the season

Reno, Nev. - The Nevada volleyball team is back in the Virginia Street Gym for matches against the Boise State Broncos and the Utah State Aggies. The Pack continues on the hunt for a conference win before going on the road for the two last matches of the season in the following week.

Both matches will be live-streamed through the Mountain West Network, and live stats will be available on the Nevada Wolf Pack website. 

THE BRONCOS


The Pack will first face the Broncos on Thursday, Nov. 11. The first set is set for 6 p.m. with the night being themed a white-out game. The first 75 fans will receive free white poms to help cheer on the Pack. Nevada lost the last match against Boise State in 3-1 on the road.

THE AGGIES

On Saturday, the Pack will face the Aggies for the second time this season. Nevada lost the last match against Utah State in 3-1 on the road. The first set is set for 1 p.m. with the first 75 fans receiving free leis, and the senior ceremony will be taken after the match at the Virginia Street Gym, where the Pack will recognize three key seniors for the team.
 
THE SENIORS
 
The Pack will celebrate the seniors, Kaila Spevak, and Chelsea Vaughan.
 
Captain Spevak has been an important member of the Pack defense. The libero has recorded 302 digs so far this season and has been on the individual conference leaders rankings since the first week in the category. The Reno native has surpassed the 700 mark in digs in her career for the Pack earlier this season. The senior has also been the leader in service aces for the Pack with 27, so far this season.
 
Vaughan has been the secondary setter for the Pack since her redshirt-junior year. The Arizona native has played in 21 matches, recording 55 assists, 11 service aces, and 26 digs so far this season. The transfer from Idaho State started her career with the Pack in the 2020-21 season. Last year, Vaughan recorded 83 assists, six service aces, 29 digs, and one block assist.
