PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- Quim Vidal Mora shot an 11-under and pulled away to victory at the Saint Mary's Invitational on Wednesday. 

Vidal Mora closed the third round with a four-under to maintain the lead he created during the second round. Holding a one-shot lead after 36 holes of play, the senior from Barcelona, Spain shot a 67 during the final day of play and stretched his closing lead out to three shots with his next competitor, Mitchell Hoey (St. Mary's), unable to close the gap. It marks the first win of his career with Nevada.

The Pack finished fourth amongst the team leaderboard after a strong finish to the tournament. Nevada bounced back from sitting in 12th after the first round and posted back-to-back rounds of solid golf to finish seven-under. Oregon won the tournament at 19-under with Stanford finishing second at 18-under, San Francisco finished 3rd (-13), Nevada placed fourth, and Loyola Marymount rounded out the top-five at five-over. 

Peyton Callens had himself a solid tournament after shooting four-under and finishing tied for 5th. Callens closed the third round with a 67 (-4) to move into the top 5.
