HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – The Nevada women's golf team is tied for seventh after two rounds at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate at the University of Denver Golf Course in Highlands Ranch, Colo.
The Wolf Pack slipped one spot into a tie for seventh with Rutgers (+13) after posting an 11-over second round. ETSU is nine-under and four shots up on second-place Cal Poly (-5). Host Denver is in third at three-under, San Francisco is fourth at two-over, and Grand Canyon University rounds out the top five (+6).Â
Victoria Gailey continues to impress sitting tied for 9
th with a 36-hole marking of one-under-par after a round of 73 (+1) today. Gailey sank four more birdies for a total of eight birdies through two rounds to follow up her solid first round with another competitive performance and continues to be in the top-10.
Kaitlin Fleiner posted a 74 for a two-over-par round two and moved her overall score to two-over to sit in a tie for 24
th with teammate
Leah John. John posted back-to-back rounds of 73 over the first 36 holes for play for a two-over marking.
Anitra Khoth was three-over-par after Round 1 but dropped to 10-over par with a 79 today during Round 2 and not sits tied for 67
th.
Kayla Nocum is tied for 77
th with a 16 over score after a Round 2 score of 82.
The Pack is back in action with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (MT) to kick off tomorrow's third and final round at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate at the University of Denver Golf Course in Highlands, Colo.
