HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – The Nevada women's golf team is tied for sixth following the first 18 holes of play at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Denver at Highlands Ranch Golf Course on Friday.

The Pack sits at two-over after a combined round of 290 during the first day of play and tied with Kansas for sixth. ETSU sets the pace with a 17-under round of 271. Hosts Denver is second at three-under, Grand Canyon University is third at two-under, and Cal Poly and San Francisco are tied for fourth with a one-under first round.

Victoria Gailey had an outstanding round, shooting two-under-par for her lowest round of the season so far to end the first day tied for 9
th (70). Gailey made four birdies and held steady through all 18 holes.
Kaitlin Fleiner is tied for 19
th after posting an even-par 72 round with two birdies.
Leah John sits at one-over after a round of 73 and tied for 34th.
Anitra Khoth is tied for 53
nd with a three-over round of 75, and
Kayla Nocum is tied for 72nd with a six-over round of 78.
