Wolf Pack Replay: Re-live Nevada’s thrilling win over Purdue!

Watch party set for 6 p.m. on Saturday

RENO, Nev. – The Nevada athletics department is hosting a digital watch party on Saturday evening to re-live the Wolf Pack's comeback win over Purdue to open the 2019 football season at Mackay Stadium.

The game features one of the most thrilling endings in Wolf Pack history as true freshman kicker Brandon Talton, a walk-on from Vacaville, Calif., drilled a 56-yard field goal as time expired to give the Wolf Pack a 34-31 victory over the Boilermakers from the Big Ten Conference. Nevada battled back from a 24-7 halftime deficit in the game, led by redshirt freshman quarterback Carson Strong, who completed 30-of-51 for 295 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in his first collegiate start.

The Wolf Pack Replay will be hosted on Twitter – no account is needed to watch the broadcast. Those with a Twitter account can log-in to Periscope during the broadcast to participate in a live chat on the site during the watch party. The broadcast is available at www.NevadaWolfPack.com/WatchParty and it will begin at 6 p.m.

Wolf Pack coach Jay Norvell will provide insights to the game throughout the show, which is a condensed version of the game running approximately two hours.
