RENO, Nev. – After a week off from competition the University of Nevada (4-4) women's tennis team returns to the road with a pair of matches this week. The Wolf Pack plays at Sonoma State (4-2) on Thursday at 11 a.m. and concludes the two-match road trip at Sacramento State (0-7) on Friday at 1 p.m.
Three members of the team have earned three victories during spring competitions. Freshmen
Liza Mintusova (3-1) and
Ksenia Shikanova (3-2) are two of the players. Sophomore Roos van Reek is 3-3 in the spring while fellow sophomore
Selina Turulja is 2-1. Freshman
Anastasia Luneva has posted a 2-3 singles record in here first spring at Nevada.
In total 11 combinations have seen action in doubles. Turulja and Skikanova along with
Arina Gumerova and van Reek have posted the top records at 2-1. Six other duos have one win on the season.
