RENO, Nev. – After a week off from competition the University of Nevada (5-2) men's tennis team returns to action with a pair of road matches at Saint Mary's (2-4) on Saturday at noon and Sacramento State (1-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Wolf Pack started the season 5-0 before falling at Utah and to Montana leaving the squad 5-2 on the season. SMC is 2-4 and Sacramento State 1-2. The Hornets play at Santa Clara on Saturday.
Sophomore Delmas N'Tcha is a perfect 4-0 on the season at No. 4 singles. Two more sophomores
Benjamin Campi and
Daniel Dudockin are 5-1 and 4-2 respectively. Campi has seen time on courts 5 and 6. Dudockin's action has come on at No. 2 and 3 singles.
Senior
Julien Evrard is 3-1 at No. 1 singles. Newcomer
Isaac Nortey, who joined the team at semester is 3-3 playing on court 2. Sophomore
Gvidas Motuzas is 3-3 in his time at No. 4 and 5 singles.
Evrard and Nortey are 4-2 playing doubles on court 1. Dudockin and Motuzas have posted a 3-3 record at No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 team of Campi and N'Tcha have posted a 2-3 record.
