RENO, Nev. – With only two more weeks before the Mountain West Indoor Championship, the Wolf Pack will look to finish its indoor regular season at the Boise State Challenge.
This will be the Pack's third time traveling to Boise in the span of its indoor season. The Pack has seen lots of success in both meets that include two school records broken, three Nevada top-ten performances, and seven first-place finishes.
At the Bronco Invitational, junior Nicola Ader broke the school record in the 60 meter hurdles. Her time of 8.46 was good for the record and earned her a second-place finish in the event. The junior also had a first place finish in the high jump at the invitational with a distance of 1.82m.
Junior Karoline Sauer saw success in both the Bronco and the Ed Jacoby Invitational with a first-place finish in both meets. At the Bronco Invitational, Sauer finished first in the 600m run and earned the school record with a time of 1:31.97. Then at the Ed Jacoby Invitational, the junior finished first in the 800m dash that moved her up to seventh all-time at Nevada with a time of 2:12.60.
Boise also saw success from a couple of Nevada seniors. In the pole vault, Gaby Palmer finished in first at the Ed Jacoby Invitational with a distance of 3.75m. The senior also earned a second-place finish at the Bronco Invitational with a distance of 3.95m. Brandi French also had success as the senior earned a third-place finish in the shot put in both meets.
The Pack will compete in its last indoor regular season meet at the Boise State Challenge this Friday and Saturday.
